BASS.NET API for the Un4seen BASS Audio Library

Retrieves the version of the BASSloud.DLL that is loaded.

Syntax

Parameters

fieldcount: Type: SystemInt32
The number of components to use. The fieldCount ranges from 1 to 4 (major.minor.build.revision).

Return Value

Type: Version
The BASSloud version (major.minor.build.revision).

Remarks

There is no guarantee that a previous or future version of BASSloud supports all the BASSloud functions that you are using, so you should always use this function to make sure the correct version is loaded. It is safe to assume that future minor revisions (indicated in the LOWORD) will be fully compatible.

Note: Calling this method will also automatically load the library into memory.
