Re: Multiple Channels
Of course I will need another license ;) - which I will happily get!
Just trying to figure out what the best hardware set up will be for multiple channels. The new channel is still a few months away.
My server does not have a soundcard (and any new servers that I get will not have one either) - I ...

Multiple Channels
Thinking of adding a second channel to our service sometime in the future - which will require another instance of ProppFrexx. Currently ProppFrexx runs on a Win2012 host with 64gigs of ram and 8 cores. The same host also runs 2VMs: LAMP sever and an Icecast server.

Re: New Script Filter
You definitely want to use the day-parting rules under the Other tab as Bernd mentioned. First create a set of rules, for example Mondays, Tuesdays, or whatever. Then apply these rules to your tracks. If you keep your podcasts in a single library, a script entry to select a random track from the ...

Try Ensure Exact Length and Playlists
I haven't posted a request in quite a long time - which quite frankly is a testament to how professional ProppFrexx has become. However, I just encountered a problem that I hope you may have a solution for. As a matter of fact I think that ProppFrexx may already have this - but I just need you to ...

Bernd - can you please provide a bit more detail about the HLS streaming option. Does this feature allow to pickup and rebroadcast HTTP live streams or does ProppFrexx now have the option to be the source of the HLS stream?

Re: Scheduler and Upcoming DST Start
Thanks for the quick response. I did not schedule those two programs on on top of each other. It looks like ProppFrexx has done that automatically given the DST change. If I look at next week's Sunday schedule - those same recurring programs are correctly shown at 1, 2 and 3 AM.

Scheduler and Upcoming DST Start
Hi Bernd,
Can you let me know what I can expect to happen (when DST kicks in at 2AM and clocks are moved forward an hour to 3AM) in terms of how program scheduler will behave.
All of my programs are 1 hour in length - however the scheduler has extended 1 hour playlist into a 2 hour program and ...

Can this be added to the wishlist - in a "nice to have but not vital" category?
