Hi Bernd,

how can I permanently disable the “Fading” button? It turns itself back on every time I restart PFOA. Saving the layout on exit has no effect.

There is no such option to disable Fading permanently and even persist it.
UseFading will even be turned on whenever you create a new playlist... you would have to manually disable each time you create a new playlist.
