The playlist closes immediately because i've set up an code in the overlay to close current playlist.
After the playlist is closed the next hour is loaded with music.
I will try the overlay mixing time = -1500 at the news block at 17.00 hours
I will let you know what happens asap!

How are you testing things?
Do you may b 'replay' your adverts or do they start regularly as planned in the scheduler?

I'm testing things on a 'live' system.
So i need to wait every hour to the news overlay start to see if the changes work.
I've tested at 5 pm the following settings:
Mixing time program = 0
Mixing time overlay = -1500
At 6pm I will test:
Mixing time program = 0
Mixing time overlay = 500
Adverts are playing scheduled, but at least 1 advert is playing every hour.

Both tests are not working.
But i do see now what's different.
If you saw in my video the Overlayplayer is counting down til start
If the countdown is completed the Overlayplayer immediatly starts to play.
Before i had this issue, the Overlayplayer was counting down til start and than another extra 3 seconds til fade-out of running track and than started playing.

Here it does definitly NOT.
May be an explanation of what is happening in case of a segue (program to overlay with MixingTime=0):
With a Soft StartType the NEXT cue point would be used. But as the EndsAt or Fixed StartType do start immediate the current track of the playlist is faded out. Herefore the manual fade-out time of that tracks media entry type is used. The segue time is then 40% of that fade-out time.
So in your case it might be that you have defined the manual fade-out of that entry too short so that you het that impression ?
How is you manual fade-out time of the entry type of the current playlist track defined?
See general settings, section Mixing/Fading and click on the 'Mixing per Media Type...' button.

Hi Bernd,
to show you how things work before the update I made this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-NVd2NuYZ0
It contains no sound, but as you can see the overlayplayer is 'waiting til start time' and after that it is 'waiting 3 secs til end of track'
The current track is fading, and when it's almost done fading the overlay player starts! This is how it always worked.
Nothing changed in the settings.
This is after the update:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCs2BrQUB6c
Notice the overlay player is 'waiting til start time'. So far, so good.
But when it reaches the '0' it immediately starts to play even when the current track still needs to fade away!
I tried different mixing time settings for overlay and program: -1500, 500 and 1000. Al the same effect!?
So what is changed in the latest version??
