Looks all okay to me. And as said, in all my tests here the Find is possible to perform in parallel while rescanning, scripting is possible in parallel while rescanning etc.
Very strange.
I might add an option 'Suppress Initial Rescan' though to the MLS - everything else can not really be changed, as it is already working as expected here and I see no chances for further improvements.

Please try the new v3.0.14.01 - I guess I found the margin.

Great !
Now it took about 4 minutes to scan my libraries (total 120000 tracks).
I might need to update the above info because on my test pc took 50 secs for 50000 tracks.
Amazing !
