Confusion with overlay countdown timer

My djs are in confusion when they see the count down timer of an overlay while a song is playing.
They don't know that the overlay will delay (according to my settings).
They think that the overlay will start in x seconds as the panels shows.
Suddenly they see the 0 to become xx secs (till end of the song).
I have to explain to them what is going on.
But even me, when I see this count down, I immediately have to remember what delay I have set, then I look at the remaining time of song playing, I calculate in my mind IF song will cut or not, etc etc.
Can you think any improvement on this ?

Much better now, but still there is a confusion when the button "Delay" disappears while the timer is counting down.
The user thinks that has time to "Delay" and suddenly button "Delay" disappears without any prior notification.

There are always downsides

And yes, that is also normal, as the user can not delay the overlay once the effective start time has passed (that is the time it disappeas).
So I am afraid, that this behavior must/will stay as is.

There can always be a solution. I am sure you can improve it.
You can update the button text with a "Delay (-x:xx)"
Or you can add another label showing the "disappear" count down.
In fact I still can not understand why "Delay" button needs to disappear. What is the problem if stays visible till the end of count down ? If the user clicks delay, the overlay will start later. What's wrong with that ?

Assume we have an Overlay with StartType = Soft.
This means, that at the scheduled start time, the remaining duration of the currently playing track will be evaluated and compared with the Max Delay time.
The 'Delay' button can be used to 'push' the effective/scheduled start time.
However, once the start time has passed and the above evaluation is done; the real start time now only depends on the end of the currently playing track...that's the meaning of soft start...
So a 'Delay' wouldn't make any sense anymore...as you can not delay the end of a track! I.e. once the track ended the overlay should start...so at a certain point in time a delay wouldn't make sense anymore.
I hope you get what I am trying to say...

Yes but if you are in a live show, you might need to talk after the end of the song and before overlay starts.

Bernd, it's not so simple as you say.
There is not always a planned show.
There are times the auto mode is on and I feel the mood to continue in a live show and play some songs.
How can I know and plan a live show in that case ?
And I repeat something I had told you in the past.
Last minute (even seconds) changes are very important in a radio software.
