Next track did not start after overlay
Posted: 07 Nov 2014 10:54
This happened today:
Program was playing in scheduler.
At 11:30 there was time for an overlay (Time Announce). The track that was playing was longer than the allowed overlay delay settings and the track fade out and the overlay started. Good so far.
The overlay ended but the next track did not start, resulting in DEAD AIR.
!
As soon as I realized that there was silence on air, I went to onair studio and I saw that the previous track was still playing (in zero volume).
I clicked F9 (many times) to start Next Track but it did not start. So I clicked the Play button on the next DJ player to start the next track and then clicked the stop button on the (zero volume) DJ player to stop and eject.
After that the program continued normally.
I have the debug log if you want it.
