Proppfrexx error usb soundcard channel Airence

Hi Bernd,
We bought an usb isolator for the Airence to minimize the digital noise.
That worked for us but now we can't get 4 usb stereo channels anymore in ProppFrexx.
Only 3 are working and the 4th isn't (see picture for error message)

Tested it with other playout systems such as mediaplayer and that works fine.
But only when PF is closed.
What does the error message mean? Is is windows, PF or hardware related?

That means your buffer settings are set too low in ProppFrexx.
If you are using the WDM driver model, we can adjust that in the general settings, section 'Audio/General' - e.g. set them to a playback buffer of 500ms and use an Update Period of 50ms.
If you are using WASAPI you must adjust the buffer directly in each mixer channel configuration - see the related 'Buffer' property, and increase that.

Tried different values as well on the wdm and wasapi.
No result and it keeps giving me the error message.
It's strange that the other 3 usb audio channels are working perfectly with the same (default) settings.
I will contact D&R as well mayby they have a solution or idea where this is coming from.

What MediaPlayer did you test which supports 4 parallel stereo play-outs simultaneously?
However the error message is clearly a driver message and when you say it only happened once you added this USB isolator it really sounds like a D&R issue.

Problem solved.
Seems I didn't get enough bandwidth from the usb isolator through the usb ports on de back of the pc.
Once I installed it on the front it worked and I had 4 audio channels again.
Seems that the usb port on the front is faster I guess.
