Hi Bernd,

I've just seen in a previous topic that someone was asking about a low speed connection as he was recording some remoted voice tracks...
It seems my connection is also really slow. most of the time it won't get better than 50kb/s when downloading files from the playlist.
to get a compare scale, when downloading a file from the same computer using teamviewer I 'm most of the time able to get easily a 300Kb/s download speed.

my network config is using classical fixed ip computers with some Nat translation for the distant host.

Is there anything to do to improve the bandwidth.

Thanks for reading me so far,
Thomas.

If it is downloading from and to the same computer I doubt that you get different speeds. How do you measure the download speed of ProppFrexx?
Maybe you compare KiloBytes vs. KiloBits ?
However ProppFrexx has no speed limit set internally.

Note that the limiting factor is typically the upload side on the server from which you are downloading.

But beside using the compression toucan only increase the upload bandwidth on your server.
