You can run the Program Scheduler in consecutive mode (default) or isolated mode - see the general settings, section Scripts/Scheduler.
The End Time of a Program (Duratuon) is only in effect when using the isolated scheduler mode.

The Duration will also be used when a program playlist is pre-created in advance or when the program is (remote) voice tracked.
