Hello Bernd,

Is it possible in de script rules editor if a rule matches, the action performed on the first track instead of the next track?

Thanks
Bram

Hi Bram,

The rule is executed when the current script-line is executed (I called this the next track, which would be due). So maybe a better wording would be previous and next (however I called it next track).
As such, I can not perform the action on a track, which was already scheduled.
Can you give a use case for your scenario, which you couldn’t solve with the existing feature?!

I understand.
I have a jingle followed by a hit randomly selected from my hits folder. In some cases the hit (in the same folder) already have a sung jingle in the intro. When a hit with the sung intro is selected, I want the jingle on the previous line to be skipt.
What is the best way to do that?

Thanks
Bram

I am afraid, that this is currently not really possible. Except to suppress that track with the jingle intro and play it later when there is no jingle selected beforehand.
But I can take a look, if it will be possible to add a new action ‚Eject Previous‘.
