My apologies if you have covered this I am searching but cannot find the answer.

If I currently use professional and want to use remote voice tracking, I understand I need enterprise. Can I upgrade my current professional license to an enterprise license and do I pay the difference?
Or do I need to buy a new professional license?


2nd question, I read the basic version can be used on the client side for remote voice but lacks the seague editor.

Yes, on the server side you need the Enterprise Edition for RVT.
You can always upgrade from and to any version and just pay the delta of the license price!

On the client side, there is no min. Edition required, ie. even the Basic would work. But I agree, the Premium is what I recommend, as without the Segue Editor you would have to do it ‚blindly‘ and ‚manually‘, which is not nice.

But many users just use the Basic Edition for pure playlist management or local playout only.
