v4.4.3.3 - stable
Posted: 13 Jan 2024 21:01
Version 4.4.3.3 is out!
(as v4.4.3.0 has a bug in the remote authentication, the v4.4.3.1 fixes this issue; and v4.4.3.2 fixed an issue in the RVT!)
What's New?
New list of allowed users for Remote Voice Tracking
You can now restrict the access and ability to perform remote voice tracking to specific users (which relate to the users as defined in the UAC; even if UAC doesn't have to be enabled, i.e. you can enable it to define the users and then disable it).
When you now activate the 'AllowRemoteVoiceTracking' option in the program scheduler entry editor, three dots (...) will appear at the end of the options. Clicking on these three dots (...) will open a new dialog in which you can specify the user names allowed to perform remote voice tracking for this entry (if you leave the allowed users empty, all users are allowed): When performing remote voice tracking (RVT) the user now MUST use this user name as the Clientname and password (as defined on the server's UAC) in order to be allowed to perform RVT on that program.
Note, that you MUST update the server AND the client simultaneously!
Performance improvements when using large VSTs
For some VSTs it took quite long to save all its parameters. I.e. saving all almost 7000 parameters of StereoTools took various seconds, which was freezing the UI in that time.
This time has now significantly be reduced to less than a second.
New AllowColumnLayoutChanges user profile right
An additional user right has been added to prevent changes of the column layout of the Playlist, Explorer, Find and Trackboard.
Enhanced song title in scripts (ARTIST=xyz; TITLE=abc)
When clicking on the small 'T' icon next to the mode in a script-line, you can set a new songtitle e.g. for streaming. The same applies to other areas as well. This function is now enhanced, so that you separately specify the Artist and Title, with the following notation:
ARTIST=xyz; TITLE=abc
