Due to public demand, here are some general answers to various license questions:

Can I use the Non-Commercial license in a non-profit environment?
No.
The non-commercial license is for pure private use only. Our license terms define non-commercial for pure no-money-making private use. I.e. you can not make any revenue in any form. Revenue is not Profit!
I.e. if you receive donations, make adverts (on your web site or stream), if you receive any kind of funding (even from the government) or alike, the commercial license is the right one for you.

Can I use the Non-Commercial license if others can listen to my radio?
No.
The non-commercial license is for pure private use only.
Only very close family and friends (and I really mean very close friends, ie. this is not a backdoor and a definition of choice!) might listen to your stream. You must take appropriate access control to prevent, that your radio is not public available.
As soon as others are able to listen to your stream, the commercial license is the right one for you.
This applies to any FM stream, but also any public available web streams or alike.

Can I upgrade my license?
Yes.
You can upgrade your license at any time for just the delta of the license price (the new price and the price you paid). This is true for upgrading the Edition as well as to upgrade to a commercial version.
If you use the wrong license and don’t want to upgrade to your appropriate license, we are allowed to deactivate your license entirely without any refund possible.

Do I need multiple licenses, if I run multiple radios on the same PC/Server?
Yes.
Every ‘seat’, i.e. every instance of ProppFrexx (even if they share the same Ident-Number) requires a separate license.

Is the license price a subscription or recurring fee?
No.
The license price is a one time payment and valid forever.
You only need to obtain a new license for a new major version (which might happen every 10 years or so, and will be announced at least 4 months in advance, licenses purchased after the announcement will automatically receive a license for the new version, upgrades for existing customers are offered to a highly reduced upgrade price).
Of course you can still use your old license as long as you like. However, once a major version comes to its end of life (EoL), a license transfer is not supported anymore.

Can I claim a refund of my license price in any case?
No.
We explicitly offer a try before you buy Demo version. So you can try out all the features before you make a purchase. As such you can not claim any refund.

If you need additional support, there are different professionals who can offer paid support.

Hello, good morning. We bought the program but we have not been able to activate it because it tells us that the code is invalid (Windows 11). It is urgent, thank you very much.

Make sure, that ALL data was entered 100% exactly as in the registration data mail!
Name, Mail and all keys. No space anywhere etc.
Also double check you ProppFrexx Ident-Number (must be the same as you submitted to me).

If you still have issues, email me a screenshot of your registration dialog, so that I can see all fields you entered.

I can already see the mistake, as I can guess your address and name from the fragments of the above screenshot.

YOU told me your Ident-Number is: 900233667
BUT on the screenshot it is: 1C9E218

As such, the keys can not match! I deactivated the first Ident and have send you new keys.
