Jingle artist "hey i am and you listen......"

If I remember correctly you can add an artist's jingle to a track via events. But here are some questions.

1st. When I add the jingle via events, I cannot play it. in the tagger yes, but not in the playout. FyI The tracks are tagged from another PC then the playout.

2; When this artist jingle is added what about the "ramp"? How does pf know to stop when playing a sweeper so it doesn't play over the artist jingle. Or do you have to create the event first and then tag it further

3. Analogous to the above, for example you record something about a certain record. a fact or something else about a artist, group, .... and program this via events. This is taken into the automation, but how do you prevent a sweeper from being played over the spoken part?

or am I missing something

1. What event are you talking about?
However, track insert events can also be played in both, the Tagger AND ProppFrexx. Maybe you forgot to provide the file to the other system ?

2. I can not follow your use case. You have a track and an Artist jingle and a sweeper?
Are you talking about an Track Insert Event and an Automatic Sweeper?
Both are however aligned to the related cue point.

3. Again, what event are you talking about?
As said, track insert events are aligned to your defined cue-point, a the Ramp cue-point. So your cue-point definition has to ensure this. ProppFrexx can not do any ‚magix‘ ;-)

These are Track Insert Events. Here you can trigger various events, e.g. tempo changes or you can logically add a reference to a track, which should be played at that position.
This track insert event works on the ProppFrexx Tagger app as well as in ProppFrexx ONAIR.
As the track insert is a logical reference, you need to make sure, that the referenced track is available at the same location on your remote machine as well as your server/local machine.

The track insert event is independent from any cue points, ramps etc. I.e. it triggers the playback of that track insert track and plays it at the given position - you define the position and the insert track, so you are responsible for its position, just as you define it.

The Automatic Sweeper resp. the Automatic Track Insert Transition (with options like EndsWithRampOfNextTrack) is another option. It can for example be defined in the options of a script-line. This adds a track insert event automatically and uses the defined cue points of the track.

See the Track Insert Transition Videos in the Tutorial Videos for details: https://www.proppfrexx.radio42.com/foru ... php?t=1018
