GPIOClient cannot load

Hi Bernd,

After an update of windows I didn't see the main window of Proppfrexx anymore (this solved now) but when I close the program I get an error message:

....\4.0\Proppfrexx GPIOClient.config'could not be loaded!
Error:
Exception from type system.OutOfMemoryException.

How can I solve this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards Mark

Some users report, that they had „…to delete that file from the appdata folder is the solution to solve this problem.“
So close ProppFrexy and the GPIO client app and then delete this file.

I removed the file but the airlite did not work anymore in proppfrexx.

Deleting the config file will actually reset the configuration. Ie. you would have to enable the GPIO module (D&R) again and configure the server connection again.

I saw that it was trying to connect but turned of everytime. Any idea what the problem could be? I did not change the user and password

If you have started the service within ProppFrexx, make sure the server address within the GPIO client is correct.
Or empty the entire field to autodiscover it.

But why does that config file become bigger and bigger. Password inside is huge

the size of config file in memory varies. now only about 30mb, sometimes for example 84mb. the last time my configuration went wrong the size of config file in memory was more than 1000mb after which the GPIO client crashed. All this after the last update of PFOA, before that never similar problems. another tip for D&R users; before running windows update make sure that D&R mixers are disabled or disconnected from usb and computer is restarted, usually works well/better.
