The next version of ProppFrexx ONAIR will update the internal WebBrowser to a modern and most recent version of Chromium (Edge)!

If you are already on Windows 11, you don't have to do anything, as Edge (Chromium) is already be installed on your machine by the OS.
The same is true, if you are on Windows 10 and have applied some of the recent Win10 updates.

Else, if you are still on Windows 8 or 7, you might need to install Chromium support manually from here:
https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=2124703

v4.5.1.0-beta is already out (so 'Check for Beta-Versions...'):
What's New?
  • The internal WebBrowser is now based on Chromium (Edge)
  • RemoteVoiceTracking should now resolve EmbeddedContainer durations (as available)
  • New UI- and Audio-Lib version
  • Various optimizations and smaller bug-fixes
  • beta

Nice new update thanks again for the further development of Proppfrexx. I only had a question is there somewhere more out explain about the function web research configuration?

You basically have all the functions underneath the WebSearch ribbon tab button (open the small arrow).
Else see the general settings, section More Stuff.

The default HOME page is your defined station URL, which you define in your user profile settings (click at the top right user icon).

Propp finds and downloads the beta version for me, but after installation I still have version 4.5.0.7. What should I do?

Maybe wait til the official version is out. For others it seems to work… but I am now on holiday and can not really help.
