Issue Connecting AxelTech Oxygen 2000 Mixer GPIO with ProppFrexx

Dear Members,

I have an AxelTech Oxygen 2000 mixer and I would like to connect it via GPIO in order to send commands to the ProppFrexx players and the Cartwall. Unfortunately, I am facing issues and have not been able to establish communication via TCP (GPIO).

I have tried several steps to resolve this issue:

First, I configured the PF GPIO client (v4.5.1.7) with the mixer’s IP address on port 93 (UDP/TCP tab).

I checked on the main tab if the AxelTech device turned green, but without success.

I then changed the IP address to 127.0.0.1 on port 93 (UDP/TCP tab), again without success.

I also tried to monitor if there was any communication, but no change was observed.
Using netstat I checked whether port 93 was listening, and it appeared to be active.

Following the AxelTech instructions, I added the PF PC’s IP address and port 93 in the system, and I also assigned a macro to the fader. However, I still get the following result:

The issue I would like to solve is simply to get the GPIO working and communicating properly between ProppFrexx and the mixer.

Is there anyone who could assist me with this? Unfortunately, AxelTech support is currently on summer holiday.

Many thanks in advance.

As we already discussed via mail and as I have no Axeltech
Mixer myself, Ingurss we would have to wait for the Axeltech to return from their vacation.

Hi Nermd

Thanks for your reply and yes as quick as we have an answer I will post the details on this forum.

We are only wondering if you can explain the axeltech option in the gpio. How is this designed ?

As I already told you, it is a plain and standard TCP client listening on the given Port for ASCII text messages.
