When you create a script:

with media category news, via news&advert.
If you click RECALLC ACCP in the options in SCIPT for this script line.

Everything runs well, as long as no playlists have been created in advance.

When loading a pre-made playlist with script line NEWS with RECALLC ACDP, the cue points are still set to the 'old' mix points of the news, i.e., the CUE points of the news when the playlist was created.
If you don't apply anything, it runs well, but definitely do not click RECALLC ACDP.
MIX now runs via settings & options ----> mixing fading/news.
But what is the purpose of RECALLC ACDP in the script then?
When you work with an Overlay and click RECALLC ACDP in the script line, it works correctly. But with NEWS, it takes the CUE POINTS from the news file from when the playlist was created. What could be going wrong?

Not all script-line options do apply for all script modes.
Eg. the RecalcACDP option does not applies to the LoadPlaylist mode (as otherwise, a manually pre-made wouldn’t play as it was designed by the creator of such playlist).

This is actually by good reason and design.
So what goes wrong: Nothing.

A manually created playlist uses the cue points as defined in the playlist when it is created. Ie. if you don’t like the cue-points, you have to tell your creator/editor of such playlist to adjust the cue points as desired when creating/editing such playlist.

Okay, yes... it's my fault, I love testing things out with Proppfrexx too much.... So it's best not to click that recall ADCP for news that updates every hour. This was a little experiment in my quest to mix the news as well. We receive a complete news file with jingles enabled, hence the search. The news jingles therefore arrive directly mixed in the ADVERT and NEWS modules.

But as mentioned, the solution is to mix from the general settings. MIX & FADING. Otherwise, I am extremely satisfied with Proppfrexx... and yes, I love experimenting with all the clicks too much.... Thanks in advance for this wonderful program with so many possibilities!
