Huge lag when im opening VT

Hello, I got a huge lat when im opening Voice tracking, and only when I open just that.
The songs dont lag at all, tho if im going to do anything in the program when VT is open its a delay on it.
I have tried do only use PF and nothing els but its still the same lag in it.
Cant tell you why tho.

What do you exactly mean by 'huge lag' or 'delay'?
Is the sound outpout delayed or does it simply take some time to open the VT Editor window?

Its taking like 25-30 sec to open the VT and its no lag in the sound!
So its just the program

OKay,
so what does your system look like (OS, version, etc.)?
CPU, Memoy , harddisks (e.g. where are your audio files located? one a fast or sow disk...)?

I tested this here on various machines and the VT dialog comes up pretty fast - no issues.

My computer is nothing wrong with:
AMD Phenom II X4 955 clocked to 3,8GHz
8 GB Ram
64-bit enterprice windows 7
Tho the hard drive is a 2 TB in 5400RPM thats the reason I think.
Didnt think about that, will change the musik placement soon!

So is the dialog comming up pretty fast - but does the WaveForm rendering of the 2 songs just take its time?
If yes, a slow HDD might be the reason yes.
