XP: blue screen

So, I wanted to transport ProppFrexx from Windows 7 to Windows XP (which supports MBL4 sound processing; Windows 7 doesn't). I use Virtual Audio Cables as virtual soundcard. In Windows 7, ProppFroxx works like a charm with the VAC.

But at Windows XP, it gets me into the Mix Setting Wizard. I just put in VAC as play-out. Then Propfrexx started, and ta-daa: a blue screen. I tried it again, but again, the infamous blue screen. Why does ProppFrexx doesn't work with XP and VAC's?

After 'initializing audio engine', I get the blue screen. Even with a freshly installed Windows XP.

As said, that sounds like a bug in one of your soundcard drivers...as they are initialized at this point.

Sounds like an XP driver issue and not a ProppFrexx one.
The error code is a general unexpected exception - typically reported by device drivers...
