Setup External Database for the music
Hello i want to know how i can host a vm and set up a music database on that vm so i can connect the software to that music database
Re: Setup External Database for the music
The advantage of ProppFrexx is, that all is file based.
Ie. to set up your VM, just organize your folder structure on that VM. You can automate ProppFrexx, so that your lib automatically adds new files added to your folder lib when they are added to your folder (Auto Watch).

You can use a SQL database with ProppFrexx. But ProppFrexx only has read capabilities. I.e. you would have to maintain your database (entries) yourself!
Each entry has a reference to the file location and path (see the SQL.txt file contained in your installation folder). That LOCATION column must denote the full path to the audio file - i.e. the audio file must also reside accessible on your VM.
