i want songs that i like in the night only on the 80s script playing in the night.radio42 wrote: 19 Apr 2025 00:01 Your test above uses a 'Grouping contains 80s' Filter. If this is what you want, it looks correct. Not sure, what exactly you want.
So yes, all is possible.
Re: grouping and mood
See my answer above - the image I posted 80s AND Night.i want songs that i like in the night only on the 80s script playing in the night.
You need a 2nd script for that, which you run in the Night.
No matter how, you need a 2nd license and you need a shared drive connection to the main location or you need to copy your audio files.
What exactly do you want to do? Remotely listen and tag your audios? Or only edit the tags without the audio? Also set cue-points or only Tag data?
I assume you also want to listen to the audio - and that requires to transmit the file to the remote location. Ie. copying the file is most efficient. But in your text youbalways want to avoid it
ProppFrexx has no option to remotely listen and tag your audio files, which are located on another PC. But when you have a shared network connection to that other PC this is possible. But I am not a network admin to your stations, but this can be setup of course.

Re: grouping and mood
Hi Bernd,
I try to explain,
I want this -
06:00 - 10:00 Oldies * 60s - 70s *
10:00 - 12:00 Singalong * 80s - 90s *
12:00 - 23:00 Nonstop allround songs
23:00 - 06:00 Night slow songs, from 80s til now.
I make the script with the mood tagging, but is my not clearly of it works :
Script line 1 : Musiclibary - Contains 80s
Script line 2: Musiclibary Contains 80s
Script line 3 : Musiclibary Contains 80s - Night (Mood)
Script line 4 : Musiclibary Contains 80s
Or is thise not the correct way to do. wil he tagged songs only night also play at 80s day?.
I hope it wil understand a little bit better.. i think maybe that i the songs to manny tags make.

Re: grouping and mood
This is all okay.
But your filters depends on how you tagged your songs.
And how you organized your media libraries.
How have you done this? How many media libs do you have. What’s TAGs have you set.
Regardless. You filter accordingly.
Example:
Year between 60 and 80 AND Grouping contains Oldies
Or
Mood contains 80s AND Mood contains Night
Or
Grouping contains 80s AND Mood contains Night

Re: grouping and mood
So you only use the Mood field for all different values (Age, Slow, Night etc.).
Then create a script for each time frame (e.g. 4 as you indicated above). And then set your filters and use the LastRecentlyPlayed script-line mode:
Adjust the Filter for the other script-lines accordingly.
The Filter of another script will look differently or will be missing completely:
or
But I would suggest to use different fields for the different attributes.
E.g. save the date in the Year field (then you can even filter with easier date ranges). Use the Mood field (Slow, Medium, Fast) and use eg. the Grouping for your Night, Day etc. separation? Just a suggestion... you might even create multiple media libraries for different categories, e.g. put all 80s tracks in one 80s media lib etc.

Re: grouping and mood
Sure. You can simply show these columns in the playlist window (or when using the Tagger in its Explorer panel).
To show these columns right-click on the header and select the ‚Column-Chooser‘.
