intro to a song

We're starting our new carnival season soon. We're constantly receiving new songs. We want to play an intro of "new song of this year..." before a new song is played in a script, but we don't have many songs in the beginning, and sometimes no song will load because we're doing a history check.
Can I load an intro that only plays when a new song follows in the playlist? Or can I just load an intro in the script for the line where the new song and so on always plays?

Sounds pretty similar to this request.
You might want to the Automatic Sweeper mode.
Ie. define your Intros as a cartwall library and assigne it to a specific script-line where you play your new tracks.
You might want to change the sweeper mode as well - eg. to the VO:… mode
