Playlist template wizard
Re: Playlist template wizard
? I am a bit lost with your scripts...?
What is your base script and what is your first load playlist option?
Can you please post all the involved scripts and program scheduler entry settings...
Have you maybe defined any 'Script Rules' to suppress 'Promos'?

Re: Playlist template wizard
How do you load the 'Loaded PL' - as the two playlists have different names...?
The one you called 'Original PL' has a filename called 'Evening 14-5.pfp' - and the one loaded by the scheduler is loaded at the 16.05....?
So could it be, that the dates (14.05. vs 16.05.) is the issue again...?

Re: Playlist template wizard
He Bernd, I've continued on with my tests and scripts so i've got a result and reached my goal after understanding the playlist loading mechanism with the macro command, what i'm facing now is a problem with resolving overlays during simulation option, when i check this option and after the playlist is generated i got the container which contains the overlays ads in the playlist and that is good, the problem is that i got also another container just before the one that contains the overlay tracks but an empty one with a duration of the overlay slot time it self (in my case it's 10 minutes, that cause ofcourse a mistiming for my VT, what would solve it if this container does not be generated in the playlist and just the one that contains the AD tracks is generated, am i doing something wrong or it can be resolved by an update from you side.

Re: Playlist template wizard
It is a bit hard to tell you why there are 2 overlay containers, as I don't know your script as well your overlay scheduler settings/entries.
You also say its an issue in simulation mode only (not sure what you mean with this)
May be it is a dynamic overlay container which you have defined but can not be resolved at the time when testing it?

Re: Playlist template wizard
The Script is as follow :
House
House
Slogan
Pop
POP
Slogan
all the playlist are folder based library, i use this script on the playlist template wizard to assign the playlist to a certain period in the program scheduler, then i check the resolve overlays into playlist so as to insert the ADS in the playlist to set my VT time right, what it do that it inserts the ADS in containers in the playlist but it also inserts empty containers with just the time of the ad slot. what i meant by simulation mode is the playlist template wizard, what it do for the playlist to assign it in a upcoming time it'a just as simulation for me for what would happen for this period.

Re: Playlist template wizard
As I an currently not in the office might actually need some more time to answer.
Currents I can not reproduce your issue.
Are you sure not to have accidentially defimed 2 overlay scheduler entries.

Re: Playlist template wizard
yes im sure that there is only one overlay scheduled entry as in the video
Re: Playlist template wizard
In the video I can not see your overlay scheduler entries.
So to find out whats going wrong on your side I guess we need to do a Teamviewer remote session, which is currently not possible as I am on holidayy with limited Internet access.
