Overlay locked
Hi Bernd,
Strange thing happening, I am starting PF again after some time (due to my normal daytime job...), but it tells me the overlay scheduler is somehow locked :
Can't seem to find out where or how this is locked. Tried to 'unlock' it by restarting, exporting / importing, but no fix. Do you perhaps have a suggestion ?
Kind regards,
André

Re: Overlay locked
Hi Bernd,
Thanks ! Sounds very logical. I've tried it, but maybe due to the fact that I'm using PF in a Parallels Virtual session it's not working (as I expect, at least). Tried to find the .~lock file, but no such luck. Can't find anything like an overlay file, too. Can you perhaps point me to the right path ?

Re: Overlay locked
stupid, found it, just had to look in the obvious place.... (Windows didn't, strange enough.... ) Forget about my request !
Re: Overlay locked
This might happen, if the Program or Overlay Scheduler was not closed properly beforehand.
Whenever the Program or OverlayScheduler is opened, the related calendar file is 'locked' to ensure, that not 2 users might modify it at the same time.
Therefore a .~lock file is created along with the defined scheduler calendar file.
When the Program or Overlay Scheduler is closed the .~lock file is normally removed.
However, if this 'remove' fails (due to whatever reason), you might get this message.
I cannot say why the 'remove' failed in your case...
Anyhow, if you are sure all is fine, just press and hold the CTRL or ALT key while clicking the 'Program or Overlay Scheduler' button.
This will force a release of the '.~lock' file and all will open normally again.
