Multiple Entries In Programs & Features
Multiple Entries In Programs & Features
Hello Bernd,
I was uninstalling another software recently and I noticed multiple instances of ONAIR in the Windows Uninstall area. Should this be? When we update to a new version, why isn't the old one taken out? Is this taking up multiple space on the computer? Here is a photo:

Should I delete/uninstall old version numbers? Usually software when updating gets rid of these old entries.

Re: Multiple Entries In Programs & Features
The reason is quite simple. ProppFrexx (in theory, as most users never do so) allows you to install multiple versions in parallel (eg. using different installation folders).
As such the default Windows Installer (which I am using) installs a new version in parallel as well.
So yes, you might simply uninstall the old, unused versions...
However, if you are using the 'Check for Updates...' functionality directly from within ProppFrexx ONAIR...no additional version would be installed.
