Playlist Without Player ?
Playlist Without Player ?
Hello,
Aside the regular Playlist(s) which are playing the Radio content, is it possible to open other Playlists without having any Player ?
Let say I'm opening a playlist from the MediaLib for the purpose of editing tags, cue points (with the PFL Player), etc.. it is a bit scary to see all those Players loaded and cued ready to play on top of the current running PlayList.
So to avoid any mistake/wrong operation such as triggering unintentionally a Player, it would be preferable to open the edited PlayList without any Player.
Is there a way to do that ?
Cheers,
Guy.

Re: Playlist Without Player ?
Just deactivate the Playlist option 'Auto Load' in the general settings! That setting is purely for manual loaded playlists.
Aside of that I see no reason for a 'no players' option, as then 'loading' tracks to a playlist can not really be done unintentionally.
Many other users do use the players to quickly listen thru the playlist.

Indeed, good one, it is far less scary this way. Thanks.radio42 wrote:Just deactivate the Playlist option 'Auto Load' in the general settings! That setting is purely for manual loaded playlists.

But how can they use the players to quickly listen through the playlist without sending the audio on top of the current aired/streamed/broadcasted program !?radio42 wrote:Many other users do use the players to quickly listen thru the playlist.
On my side I always use the PFL Player (F11) just to be sure (there is also the Quick Monitor Player [Space]), so I wonder.

Re: Playlist Without Player ?
Of course they do not use the players when they are in parallel on air...they use different instances/PCs.
