When should I used isolated mode instead of continuous mode

When should I used "isolated mode" instead of "continuous mode", found in the settings and options (category scripts/scheduler)?

By default you should use the 'continuous' mode - as this one let a program run as long as new one is started.
Meaning (as explained in the tool tips, click on the '?' icon at the top right) the Duration (End Time) of a program is effectively ignored.

Continuous:
This mode ensures, that the scheduler will always run a program at any time. The end time of a program is therefore actually ignored and a program runs as long as a new program will be started.

Isolated:
This mode runs the programs as defined in the scheduler taking the start and end time of a program into account.
Note: Gaps within your program scheduler might lead to breaks/silence in this case.

So the isolated mode might only be useful for stations running their station only partially (part time) - or if a station has a high share of manual operation and only a small fraction of automated programs.
Or if you want to effectively only run your 'scheduler' programs at exactly these times...

All stations running a real 24/7 program should use the continuous mode.
