Streaming mp3 low bitrate
Streaming mp3 low bitrate
I am currently using edcast streaming in 32kbps 22050Hz without problems so far.
Now I am testing pf streaming.
I created an encoder to stream in mp3 32kbps.
In target samplerate I 've tried 22050Hz but in that bitrate, the result I am listening is at 16KHz.
Also when I set 64kbps at 44100Hz, the stream I am listening is 64kbps at 24000Hz.
Is that normal ?
Edit:
After changing several settings I saw that I can have the wanted result by setting mode to "mono".
I think that everything is ok now.

Re: Streaming mp3 low bitrate
Yes, the Mono/Stereo option within the encoder profile is indeed important, as the mixer channels itself are always stereo.
