How to get a fixed end tune into a script
Hi Bernd,
For my non-stop XTended radioshow (no dj show) I like to put a fixed endtune in my script.
So each hour has to end with that tune (just to fill in the last seconds till minutes of the hour).
Is that possible and how to do that?
Attached my script

Re: How to get a fixed end tune into a script
Thanks for your fast answer.
So I created a new XTended-Non-Stop-EndTune PFS script and an overlay.
Are these settings correct (see attachments) ?

Yes, if you want that overlay playback to end at exactly16:59:00 - yes.
But I wouldn't set the 'LockPlaylist' option with that overlay?!

OK will switch LockPlaylist off.
Commercials will turn on at 16:58:00.
So this new EndTune overlay must be 16:57:59 ?

Re: How to get a fixed end tune into a script
It can also directly 'EndAt' 16:58:00!
(I guess you refer to the point that I said, that 2 overlays can not start at exactly the same time)
This is in general true - even if effectively I mean: 'StartTime' minus 'ShowInAdvance' should not be the same.
So if your EndTune-Overlay has a bigger Show in Advance value than your Commercials overlay - all is fine.

Re: How to get a fixed end tune into a script
There is no way to get an end tune/track into a script; as a script by itself has no 'knowledge' about any time.
A script loops forever until ended either manually by the user or automatically by the scheduler.
So if you want to plan an extra (fixed) end tune to be played at certain hour(s); you need to schedule it (via the Program or Overlay Scheduler).
E.g. when using the Overlay Scheduler you can use the 'EndsAt' start type...you might then also use the 'AsPlaylistInsert' option...
