Then check your system - and the Debug Logging!

A crash like this can not be caused by ProppFrexx itself - else there would be an entry in the ProppFrexx Error.log.
If that is not the case, it must be a system component which caused the crash.
If that system component was instantiated by ProppFrexx (e.g. happened within the audio lib I am using) it would have been written to the Windows Event Log.
As all this doesn't seem to be the case, it must be any other OS or hardware component which crashed and made ProppFrexx unstable!

For the next time, if you ever get a crash again:
Please create a dump file from the Windows Task Manager!
BUT: Use the 32-bit version of the Windows Task Manager - as explained below:
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/amb/archive/201 ... nager.aspx

E.g.:
- run this: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\taskmgr.exe
- right-click on the 'ProppFrexx ONAIR.exe' process
- and select the 'Create Dump File...' menu item
- remember the file location where the .dmp file was saved and send it to me

Problem SOLVED: within C:\Program Files (x86)\radio42\ProppFrexx ONAIR\3.0\Previous Version I manually started up "ProppFrexx Updater.exe" .
That solved the problem and ProppFrexx restarted and I could update ProppFrexx. Now we are on air again :-)

But ProppFrexx crashed due this log message found in Windows log:

Toepassing: ProppFrexx ONAIR.exe
Framework-versie: v4.0.30319
Beschrijving: het proces is beëindigd als gevolg van een onverwerkte uitzondering.
Uitzonderingsinformatie: uitzonderingscode c0000005, uitzonderingsadres 66CA155E

Don't know if this give you some information...

Installed on our PC is Framework 4.5.1

What did you do at the moment it crashed.
Did you install a new .Net Framework while it was running - or what exactly happened.

However, from the Windows Event Log it looks, like a system component/driver actually crashed and thus crashed ProppFrexx with it.
Or did you do any other updates or changed some other system/Windows OS settings in parallel when this happened?!

I did nothing was busy in my garden, cause if it works don't fix it :-)

I received a silence detection e-mail message (during the news and commercial overlay) and log on into our system. There I saw ProppFrexx was crashed. I was thinking it could be the overlay and I knew you created in the last version the "overlay bug-fix", so I started up again ProppFrexx and tried to install the latest version - but the Media Library Server was still running in the background - so updating was not possible and than ProppFrexx crashed again and that was the moment I could not stat up ProppFrexx again.

If it would be an overlay which crashed, it would not crash again right when you start ProppFrexx again!
May be it was again another unattended Windows Update in the background?
Also from where did you receive the Silence Detection message? Was that from within ProppFrexx? If yes, that would also indicate, that ProppFrexx was still running at that time when silence was detected.
All that sounds a bit puzzling to me being honest...but may be your soundcard driver or any other motherboard driver just crashed...
Are there any other details in the Windows Event Log?

Windows update is OFF, also other automatic updates are OFF.
Silence detection of our own (RTV Silence Detection), not from ProppFrexx. Time of crash just after the news and commercials. No other details in the Windows Event Log ..
I'll keep you informed if it happen again (and I guess yes it will happen again).
