adding new buttons to ribbon
adding new buttons to ribbon
Is there a way to add a ribbon button with a single user command ? (and even better to assign a keyboard shortcut to it).
I actually want to create a new tab with only 4-5 buttons.
1. Manual/Live assist
2. PlayNext (use fading)
3. AutoPlay (on - off) --- this might not be needed because 1. can do the same job (I think).
4. Overlay start (user command that fades out and ejects current djplayer and starts overlay).
5. FadeOut (and eject) current djplayer.
My question is how to create button 4 on ribbon.

Re: adding new buttons to ribbon
Yes but I can only add an existing button.
What if I want to add only ONE button from user commands ?

Re: adding new buttons to ribbon
Adding new buttons is not possible. This is a limitation of the UI lib I am using and that limit relates to the Microsoft design guides.
So unfortunately nothing I can do about...
You might 'only' add the user command gallery, which is the group showing 10 buttons...

Yes.
Make a right-click on an existing ribbon tag header and select 'Customize the Ribbon...'.
The upcoming dialog allows you to create a 'New - Tab' with a 'New Group' (on the right side of the dialog) to which you can then add existing buttons (from the left side of the dialog).
