Hi.

I'm able to connect to the server over shoutcast and play music over winamp. Works like a charme.
PF on the other hand doesn't connect at all.
The adress : fs2.stream24.net, checked password several timesis oke.
Port 8820
It just doens't work.
Who do i do?

Re: Wait for reconnect
This is because you are running a SHOUTcast v1 server - but have (within ProppFrexx) given a 'Stream ID', which then lets PF use the SHOUTcast v2 protocol.
As such, simply leave the field 'Stream ID' empty! and try again
For more info, just click on the 'question mark icon' at the top right of the Streaming Server Configuration dialog.

Re: Wait for reconnect
Bernd, checked everything.
The provider doesn't provide AIM: (AIM)
SHOUTcast only: The AIM address (if applicable).
__________
ICQ: (ICQ)
SHOUTcast only: The ICQ address (if applicable).
__________
IRC: (IRC)
SHOUTcast only: The IRC address (if applicable).
This all is not provided, i don't know anymore.

Re: Wait for reconnect
Have you tried what I have written above?
Just remove the value in the field "Stream ID" in your streaming server configuration!
The values for AIM, ICQ and IRC are optional, leave them also empty if you don't know what to put there
If you are still stuck PM or mail me your TeamViewer details (if you have that installed) to do a remote session.

Re: Wait for reconnect
Hi Bernd, i need to apologise for acting this late.
Yes, it does work which made me very happy. Honestly, i asked Per to assist me. He got the problem solved within a few minutes. PF was not able to connect because of the audio. All audio from the soundcard was 48khz, while soundcast accepts only 44.1 kHz. I felt embarrest no noticing that. So problem solved. Another solution in al long learning process. Thxs for youre quick reacting.

Re: Wait for reconnect
Ido, on the other hand have a very strange phenomen. It takes really long before it is loading and then it deleted All mp3 and is re-naming several files files with the mp3.pfwf extension. So i'm a bit confused. Maybe you'll now?
Already restored my database three times.

Re: Wait for reconnect
ProppFrexx never deletes or renames audio files!
The .pfmd extension is a separate and additional file and only created if you defined so in the general settings. In these files meta data (like cue-points) is saved, if defined.
By default PF would save all meta data directly in the audio file. But if you enabled the meta data file option in the general settings, section 'Meta Data' those files are created. However the audio files are never deleted or renamed by PF!
So it sounds you have somehow defined/changed some meta data options you did not want to have changed?
