On airinstace on more than one device

Post by bebo_saed »

Hello Bernd

we have purchased PFOA recently and we know that the licence is for only one device but we have a situation here we need to work on

we have our studios in a city and the program director in another city and the program director works on the scripts and the playlist then sends them to the studio device which is the licensed one, the problem is that the program director has some limitations using the demo version on his device so how we can unlock the full version for him on his device using the same licence noting that he will not use it for broadcast purpose?

Thanks in advance

As you are a commercial radio station, I guess it is fair to say, that your program director needs a 2nd license for his own.
He might not need an Enterprise license with all the Enterprise features, but I assume at least a Premium Edition.
You can compare the features here: http://www.proppfrexx.radio42.com/v3/editions.html

buying a new licence for the program director will be hard in our current circumstances, is there any way to use a limited version for non broadcast purpose with our current licence?

i suggest a sub licence which will have no audio output but only a preview player to be able to him to preview songs while making playlists (non "run scheduler" version)

Yes, that is exactly the difference of the various available Editions (they all cost different money of course) and that is why I said, that probably the Premium Edition (Euro 249) would be fine for him.
