Error message GPIO Client after updating to 4.0.0.2
Dear Bernd,
After updating to the latest versie (4.0.0.2) I get an error message from the GPIO Client.
A friend of mine is getting the same error message on his machine. After doing a roll back of my virtual machine to to it's snapshot before updating,it's ok (but that's no news I guess)
One thing I see: the error message states version 4.0.0.1. Also the main screen of the GPIO client is showing 4.0.0.1. So, maybe upgrading that particular application failed? Tried it several times.
As I don't use the GPIO Client on this machine, I am not able (at least not on this moment) to test if the GPIO Client is working ok. However, when I have a look at the interface, it shows that it is connected. No mentions in the PFOA error.log
I'm running windows 8.1, no servicepack. All updates done to the system. Earlier version before update is running fine.
No update(s) on the system (ie windows or .Net framework) done just before the update to 4.0.0.2.
Any mentions from other users?
Best regards,
André

No errors from any other user so far, but I'll take a look what this might be...

Just send me an e-mail if you'd like to check it out on this machine.
Have a nice evening!

Re: Error message GPIO Client after updating to 4.0.0.2
Yes, that was indeed a build error.
In the v4.0.0.2 I forgot to also rebuild the GPIO Client app - that's exactly what the error message tries to tell us
So please "Check for Updates...", a new v4.0.0.3 (re)build is available - where all apps and tools are now using the same version number again.
Sorry.
