Post by Mike_C »

Hi,

1: i'm looking for the best settings in the Media Tagger to tag my wav files en that PF the tags also read propperly.

if have tried dieferent settings and wen a song is played in PF the tags are dissapeard in the Media Tagger.

2: where do i set the count of the song history check, i have many options to fill in the song history check, is it in the script for the playlist or in the main settings.

Greets Mike.

to 1: what TAGs do disappear?
Are you may be saving both TAG and .pfmd file?
If yes only use one of them. I prefer o my to Salem to the audio file TAGs.
Note that when you change the TSG data outsidePFOA you might need to reload or rescan the related media lib to get it refresh the changes

to 2: general settings, section 'Scrupts/Scheduler' - see the Global History Count.

i taged some numbers for "Gerne" and pushed the button Calc.ReplayGain, and then when there were played by PF and i looked again in the Media Tagger the RaplayGain and Genre are empty.

and in another situation when the track is played in PF is in the field of the Title (artist - title) and artist name is also in the field of artist.

o my to Salem????? (what is that?) to tag your audio files.

greets Mike

I am sorry, but I can absolutely not reproduce what you describe.
Do you really SAVE your changes within the Tagger? Maybe not.
Else please describe the EXACT detailed steps to reproduce your issue.

I also do not understand what you mean by "the field of the Title (artist - title) and artist name is also in the field of artist"???

ProppFrexx comes with a field called "Trackname", which is composed out of "Artist - Title" and yes, that of course also contains the artist in it!
