Load all tracks from news folder once + bed
Re: Load all tracks from news folder once + bed
Thanks! I guess I now see your issue.
It is not related to the length of the actual file, but to the fact, that one track (the 'not working.flac') already contains some cue-points.
And in that case the bed-fading is not really okay.
I.e. if you remove all the cue-points in your 'not working.flac' - then it also works.
However, I agree, that the current soundbed fading behavior (with news files having cue-points already set) is in certain cases indeed not fully correct. This needs to be fixed!

Re: Load all tracks from news folder once + bed
I can confirm that it is working flawlessly, it sound like it's been mastered before the actual airing. Since we have VPN access from the phone, we can now record news from anywhere in the world and just upload them to the server. ProppFrexx does the rest, wonderfully
Do you think there could be a "max count" option for the FTEs as well? For example, if the number of files in the folder is smaller than the "count" option, only those should be played. If it's not too much of a hassle to implement or if it already exists.
Regardless of that, you've done a lot of work and we are really grateful
Thanks again!
Best wishes,
Andrei

Re: Load all tracks from news folder once + bed
Ah yes, I should have specified. I'm talking about a FTE with News mode.
Re: Load all tracks from news folder once + bed
Good to hear, that it is now working.
Regarding 'max count' for FTE: I am not fully sure what you mean. If you are talking about an FTE with the "LoadFolder" mode, then yes, the 'Count' property will in this case already define the maximum number of tracks to pick. E.g. if a folder contains more tracks, only up to 'Count' will be picked. If the folder contains less tracks then Count, only the available will be selected.

Okay. Yes, its almost the same.
With the FTE 'News' mode, the element 'Count' value already defined the maximum number (up to) of news tracks to pick.
