Problems with an external stream

Post by Havenstad FM »

Hi Bernd,

We are going to use a mod stream starting on 2-1-2017 and now that i am testing the new schedule i keep getting the error 'Invalid URL!'

We used an external stream before in PFOA and that worked flawlessly. The main difference this time is that the new stream is an icecast stream using OPUS encoding, before we used a mp3 encoded stream. In VLC mediaplayer both streams play just fine, but PFOA is not playing the Opus stream.

Can you see what is wrong? The faulty stream is: http://159.253.3.242:8000/test_g1

Sorry Bernd,

I'm sorry. It is the virus scanner that is blocking the stream. I've read about it in the forum, but forgot to check it locally.
Issue solved! Sorry for my mistake.

I just tested the stream here in ProppFrexx and it plays just fine!

Have you enabled the OPUS add-on in the general settings, section Audio/General and click on the 'AddOn...' button ?
