There is no extended history.
There are extended history checks - but no extra history.

So for extended history, it could be a solution if we no longer select the number of tracks, setting this to 0 and simply clicking on, for example, 180 min. Because, as mentioned, tracks enter the GLOBAL HISTORY from hours for which you create a playlist for, say, tomorrow, as well as from the current and upcoming hour.
This way, you quickly reach, say, 60 tracks.

Would it be possible to collect only current and upcoming tracks in the GLOBAL HISTORY? So that tracks created from a playlist for VT, for example, for tomorrow, do not appear there yet?

Or does that collection in GLOBAL HISTORY have no influence on the selection of music? For example, if ROLLING STONES is listed in GLOBAL HISTORY, which is only broadcast tomorrow, can it still select ROLLING STONES to be able to broadcast in an hour?

We work with pre-made playlists only for voice tracks. We do not create pre-made playlists for other hours. The playlists are therefore not created for the full 24 hours, which is why the selection in GLOBAL is so important to us.

Thanks in advance for your help.

No. The history size is only defined by the number of entries.
The size/min. values are only for the extended check and might ‚limit‘ the check further - to high numbers would be ignored. Specifying not to add entries to the history during voice tracking in advance is a good idea.

However those voice tracked ie. precreated playlists might still be considered for regular scripting using the ‚Back-To-Future…‘ options.

You might click on the ‚?‘ icon at the very top right of each dialog to get more help and an explanation to each options.

Here is the net: with all options, it always adds the tracks to GLOBAL HISTORY: I have already tested these different options:

So both pre-made lists and lists that play immediately. In every case, it adds everything that is created to GLOBAL.

* None: Tracks manually added will never be added to the global song history.

* Only At AutoPlay: Tracks manually added will only be added to the global song history if AutoPlay is ON.

* Only At Scripting: Tracks manually added will only be added to the global song history if the respective playlist is currently running in scripting mode.

Even with this selection, it still adds pre-made lists to GLOBAL HISTORY
* Always: Tracks manually added will always be added to the global song history.

So normally it is best to select ONLY AT SCRIPTING, but it still immediately adds whatever you create for tomorrow or the coming hours to GLOBAL.

It only adds then, if you run a script. Montez, if you manually add them! That is what the setting is for - the option what to do for manual added tracks.

I assume you might pre-create a playlist using a script? Running a script is not like adding tracks manually ;-)
I assume, that when you manually pre-prepare a playlist you do it manually.

Maybe I need to add an option for you to never add tracks to the history when pre-creating playlists?

If this is possible, it would certainly be a huge added value for us.

And please, when a pre-create playlist appears in GLOBAL during broadcast, that only MUSIC or whatever you select as the media category
----> only this (MUSIC) appears in GLOBAL, so no audio content, jingles, or liners. (only what you specify under EXCLUDE)
So the extra addition of FORCE EXCLUDE FILTER, so that this also works on PRE-CREATE PLAYLIST.
Proppfrexx is a wonderful program, especially with those extra additions!
Thanks in advance if this turns out to be possible.

The new Force Exclude Filter should work also for pre-created playlists.

I can not reproduce your issue.
A) how do you exactly pre-create a playlist
B) how do you schedule and play it
C) how do you test, that unwanted tracks are still contained in the global history

This is how we create a playlist for recording.

A script was processed in Program Scheduler beforehand. Playlists are never created, only when recording.

The person who wants to create voice tracks does the following from home:

A. - click on remote voice tracking
- connect to the server and create playlist.
- playlist is now ready to record.

B. The list is then loaded into the studio and broadcast from Program Scheduler at the correct time.

C. However, if you now check the Proppfrexx broadcasting in the studio: You go to settings and options - Logging/History - Global song history ----> the tracks for which you just created a playlist from home are listed there.
- These files do not disappear when you reload the playlist to the studio.
- Because these files are stored there, for example from a playlist for tomorrow, PF can NO LONGER play those artists. - The 60 tracks are reached so quickly; I have now set this to 0 and worked with 180 minutes, hoping that these tracks will not be counted for tomorrow....
- Also, if you want to select an artist that won't play until tomorrow, for example to manually add it NOW, it turns out that they are already in the GLOBAL HISTORY.... but won't be broadcast until tomorrow or in the future.

In short, it would indeed be better if playlists for the future did not appear in the GLOBAL HISTORY immediately, but only when they are broadcast.
PF does have to take into account the playlists that have been and are being broadcast, but according to the 'back to the future' settings, this should be in order.

- That GLOBAL HISTORY is so important to us because we do not work with pre-made playlists 24/7. A list is only created when processing voice tracks.
The reason is.... because we want to add new music every day, which can then be heard immediately. Thank you in advance for the opportunity. Furthermore, we really enjoy working with PROPPFREXX ONAIR.
