Hi Bernd,

Having a few problems with the MIDI server, trying to use a midi device but if I try to open the midi monitor window I get and error saying the midi server is not started, although I have enabled midi and selected an input. I have restarted the software too.

It has worked in the past so not sure why it has stopped.

It is hard to say what it could be, A hardware issue? A driver issue?
What has changed since it was working?
Also note, that a midi device can only be used exclusively, eg if the device is also used by any other software PF could not use it anymore. Could that be a possible reason?

Hi Bernd,

I am not aware of any changed, not used the machine its on for a while, not had much chance. The Midi device is exclusively being used by PF and I have not made any changes, I can try to use the midi device with other software and report back.
