Storing a layout

Bernd

Is it possible to store different layout's, so different users can have their own layout loaded.
Can we do this with the professional version?

Thanx

Therefore the question if it is possible that i can store a layout, and if someone change it, i can restore it back to my default one.
Now if someone change the layout and closes the programm, that layout is restored by the next startup of the programm.

That i don't want, so if a user accidently change the layout, closes the programm i have a problem that the layout is not correct anymore.

Is there a solution for in the professional edition?

Thanx

Yes, but limited.
With UAC (Enterprise Edition) you can even assign profile rights and thus explicitly revoke e.g. the right to change the layout.

But, take a look to the general settings, section 'Look and Feel'. Here you have 2 options:
- Load Layout at Startup
- Save Layout on Exit
You might disable the latter. Thus your layout(s) is never saved again.
But...without UAC, any user might change that option, as all users do have the right to change any option.

As you are a commercial station and as multiple users are working with ProppFrexx - I really recommend the Enterprise-Edition.

Yes, when using UAC within ProppFrexx ALL layouts are always user specific!
So there is nothing specific to configure, you just would need to create different users - that's all.

UAC is only supported in the Enterprise Edition, see here: http://www.proppfrexx.radio42.com/v3/editions.html
