Overlays as playlist inserts: making them the first item in a playlist & making priorities work
Overlays as playlist inserts: making them the first item in a playlist & making priorities work
I'm currently testing out ProppFrexx using the demo version and currently have the following overlays for the beginning of a 2000 hour:

The news overlay is setup like this:

Most notably, it has a "soft" start type, is allowed to start early and late (as long as it does not cut off a song and is as near to the hour as possible), and has the AsPlaylistInsert option.
The advert slot overlay is similarly set up but with priority 1 instead of 0:

However if I create a 1 hour playlist for this 2000 hour, the overlays are not the first item in the playlist (so they will not be as close to the hour as possible), and they are arranged the wrong way round:

This is how the playlist is created:

Is there something I'm missing?
(For the ordering issue, I tried switching the priorities in case I got the idea of 0 being first wrong but it hasn't made a difference.)

I need to validate what might be going wrong...give me some time to investigate that in detail tomorrow...

No problem. There's no rush.

Found the issue - was a simple 'greater' comparison, which needed to be 'greater or equal' - I'll probably post a new version either tomorrow or at least on Friday!

Thank you!
Does the fix cover both the priority ordering issue and the 1st playlist item issue?

Should be fixed in the new v4.0.1.24!
