Advert-slot, closer won't play

Hi Bernd,

Today I created a second overlay which will start to play at *.28 of each hour for a short commercialbreak.
Everything works fine, except the closer of the advert-slot. It plays less than a second and the overlay closes and the playlist goes further.
The track of the closer has a length of 6 seconds. The complete length of the opener, commercials and closer is 54 seconds (at this moment), cause there will be another commercial added later.

I searched and test couple of hours, but I can't find the solution.

Can you see what's going wrong?

As you set the Mixing Time Out in the overlay to 0, I assume that your closer has no good cue out and next cue points set.
Could this be the case?
So please try to make sure your closer track has appropriate cue points set.

Gonna test it; in 12 minutes I know more.

Tested it with a Mixing Time Out of 5000 ms.
Result: during playing the overlay the next music track already started . So no playing of the closer.

Has it maybe anything to do with my settings within the Suppress Filter (Overlay and Advertising Management)?

And have you checked your cue point of your closer how are they set?

It's a new jingle without cuepoints. How can I set those cuepoints?

Do you now still have the 'Mixing Time Out' set to 5000 ms ?

Mixing Time Out: Is the segue time in milliseconds between this overlay and the subsequent program.
A positive value calculates the segue time from the end (cue-out) of the last overlay track.
Set to 0 to resume the overlay with the 'Next' cue-point of the last overlay track.
Use a negative value to define a fixed fade-out time (for the overlay's mix-out), in this case the segue time is 40% of this fade-out time.

So if you already defined a NEXT cue point as in the picture above (which is a bit puzzling, as you just said before, that you did not and doesn't even know how to so that)... you want to set this value to either 0 or a negative value as explained above.

When does your Closer Track effectively start?
At the end of the last advert track or already a few seconds before it?

Your 'Suppress Filter' is for sure not the reason, as this only effects the playlist tracks.

In addition I noticed, that you changed the 'FadeIn' time in your ProppFrexx general settings to "-5000" ! (see section Scripts/Scheduler).
Please change this value back to 500 ms and make another try!
