Setting up DJ accounts in AzuraCast for 24/7 streaming via Proppfrexx with multiple DJs

Hello,

I am using Omniplayer in combination with AzuraCast, and I want to set up a DJ account in AzuraCast that will stream 24/7 via Proppfrexx, while also allowing multiple DJs to stream on the radio.

Here are my specific questions:

How can I configure Proppfrexx On Air to stream continuously to AzuraCast, even when no DJ is actively streaming? I want to ensure that 24/7 playlists play automatically when no DJ is online.


Do I need to keep Proppfrexx open 24/7, or is there a way to schedule automatic streaming with Proppfrexx to AzuraCast without needing to keep the software running all the time?

Do I need to keep Proppfrexx open 24/7 on my local machine, or would it be better to install Proppfrexx on a powerful dedicated PC that stays on all the time, and use Remote Desktop to control it for streaming? This would allow the program to run continuously and multiple DJs to access it. this is for the playlist to keep running 24/7? and would it work on the airlite on remote desktop also

Any help or advice on setting up this system would be greatly appreciated!

To stream to a streaming server, that streaming server must be ICEcast or SHOUTcast compatible. You define a streaming server configuration within the Network Monitor of ProppFrexx (as explained in the tutorial video) with the credentials given from AzuraCast. But I have never used it myself, so I don’t know any details myself.

I also don’t know how their multi DJ setup works. But I am sure AzuraCast can provide details.
But yes typically, you need to configure the ProppFrexx Program Scheduler for 24/7 operations and interrupt it with your Live DJs.
Some customers use a dedicated machine, others a local instance.
Of course you can not access your Airlite remotely, but ProppFrexx will still work with it.

Often multiple DJs have each their own ProppFrexx instance and steam to a server at different times.

So I don’t fully get your question maybe ?

So when i runn the proprexx on air on a Dedicated and then make users accounts for windows login it wil not reqonise my airlite then and i need the program open to run the 24/7 schedule

Not sure why this is, maybe you need to consult D&R.
But you can also run it on a dedicated machine with only user, if that is the only way D&R works.
For ProppFrexx that works fine, as you need to run the same ProppFrexx instance 24/7.
