new pc and cd/dvd-drive

Hello,

I'm planning to transfer my cd's again to my jukebox-pc.
For this task I'll be using another computer.
Now, I would like to know if there are any requirements for the cd/dvd-drive?
Or does it not matter? Any drive will do?

For ripping or for what exactly.
But there are no special requirements. If they work with standard windows, they should work with ProppFrexx.

But you can try in the demo version…

My old computer has 2 cd/dvd-drives and Exact Audio Copy tells me that one is better than the other, so that made me wonder.
I'm looking for best possible audio quality, therefore my question.
But when it doesn't really matter which drive to buy or use, then all is clear.
