change frequenty played songs

How can I prevent a song from being played so frequently? Currently, some tracks are being played as often as every two hours, even though there are thousands of songs in the folder.

A) check your script-line mode and try the ‚LeastRecentlyPlayed‘ mode
B) check your global Song History settings

Plus search this forum, there are many many topics on this subject. But most often it’s solved by either A and B.

Show me your script and media libraries to take a look at -
as else, I can only guess.

You suppressed the HistoryCheck... why - this is important to leave it active.

So:
- use instead of the 'Random' script-line mode the 'LeastRecentlyPlayed' mode
- remove the 'SuppressHistoryCheck' script-line option

And try again...

It is a warning, not an error!

Ie. your global or script history size is bigger than the size of the media library size. This means, your related script-line might be skipped, if all entries are contained in the history.

I suggest to start with NO script based history, but only a global one. And at the global history site to a moderate value. Eg. In your case eg. 100.
