[PFLPlayer] BPM Tap Sometimes Gives Wrong Results

Post by sun7radio »

Hi,

I'm using the BPM Tap to correct wrong auto-bpm results on some songs, and twice so far I got the double of BPM from my tap speed.

(I'm using another tool to confirm that).

For instance, on one song, I'm tapping at ~55 bpm and the PFL Player BPM Tap green display shows ~114 bpm.

This happened on 2 songs so far.

Strange.

Cheers,
Guy.

Yes, this is actually a feature and nut a bug ;-)
Go to the general settings and adjust the BPM Range in the section 'General/Audio'.
The BPM Range is by default 70 to 160 BPM.
Any BPM detected outside that range (manually tapped or automatic detected) will be doubled or halfed accordingly to fitinto the range.

So simply adjust your BPM range (e.g. set the lower range to 50 BPM if needed).
