Layout problem
Layout problem
There’s an annoying bug in ProppFrexx, present for quite some time now, and it sometimes happens only occasionally, but other times more frequently. I know that other users experience the same bug.
It concerns the layout, which suddenly changes without any clear reason. As a result, the card walls are suddenly no longer visible, or other separate windows disappear. I could imagine this happening when disconnecting and reconnecting monitors, but that is not the case here. Also, no major Windows component updates have recently been installed, so there is no logical cause to be found.
The biggest problem is that you cannot make the windows visible again by selecting them under View. The only way is to delete the layout file (or restore a previously saved layout file).
Can this bug be fixed, or is there another workaround to prevent this issue from recurring?

Re: Layout problem
Hi,
yes, I saw the issue already several times in the past. Unfortunately was not able to cleary reproduce. The issue is not caused by any OS update, but it occurres sometimes after an update of the internal UI library that I am using (DevExpress). I already opened a a ticket with that vendor, but he also could not reproduce the issue and hence fix it. My hands are a bit bound, as I can also not fix it, as it happens inside the UI library.
But I implemented a feature already some years ago, so that you can always restore your layout.
See the 'Workspace' menu in the 'View' ribbon tab. Here you can save and restore or manage any number of saved layouts (so called workspaces).
