Advertisement manager error!
Advertisement manager error!
Hi Bernd,
when I click the 'upcoming overlays' I get this message:
I've tried 'Yes' and 'No' nothing happens.
Closed PF and deleted the corrupt folder and reboot PF> Created a new advert campaign.
But this one also gives problems with corrupt tracks.cfg
What do I need to do?

Re: Advertisement manager error!
The problem seems to be occuring when the same campaign is having 2 tracks instead of 1.
I tested it with 1 audio file and everything works fine.
When there are 2 audio files it will not work and gives an corrupt error!
is this a bug??

Re: Advertisement manager error!
I've already tried that. Closed Proppfrexx entirely and removed the partner & campaign which is corrupt.
Started PF again and created a new partner & campaign.
But when I create a campaign which contains 2 audio files, it never created a tracks.cfg file in the folder!
That's why it cannot access the file and says it is corrupt.
But when I edited the campaign and let it contain only 1 audio files and saving, it was creating a tracks.cfg file and everything is working again.
Yesterday when I changed it to that 2 track campaign it worked fine at first, but since this morning it says the tracks.cfg is corrupt.
Tested it with different audio files, all the same result: 2 Audio files -->not creating tracks.cfg and 1 audio file -->creates a tracks.cfg

Re: Advertisement manager error!
Then we must do a TeamViewer session I am afraid - as here there is no problem assigning 2 or more tracks to a campaign....
Please send me your TeamViewer details either via a PM or via eMail...!

Re: Advertisement manager error!
I can actually not reproduce that here...
But, it looks, like there is some other error...
The Error text shown in your dialog says, that the file (tracks.cfg) file can not be accessed, since it is being used by another process?!
So that looks, like the file is open by another process and not yet released by it.
I can only assume, that the 'other' process must be the News&Advertising Manager - so what if you close that app and restart it?
